Sue Fluger was born an artist. Her creative expressions span back to her earliest years on the planet. She learned how to color in the lines and draw her favorite animals. As her skill level has deepened and expanded, her exploration calls upon different mediums and styles. Whether depicting a subject with clean lines and clear interpretation or letting the colors and shapes flow together in moods, her journey of channeling and expression feels inexhaustible and unfolding. She will often tell you her work is cooperation (at times a wrestle) between her and the canvas - the canvas knows what it wants to be and it’s her job to surrender to it. In that, her art teaches her valuable lessons about life itself. Sue is often commissioned for illustrations, design, and custom paintings. She currently resides in Austin, TX with her son Ellis and her mini schnauzer Walter.
